so stinkin funny!!  i haven't laughed that hard in such a long time!!    it was a great show and i would totally pay the money to see them again!  it ended around 10:20 and then jim & i met chris & erica at red lobster.  prolly my favorite restaurant.  good food.  it was a bit weird there tho...jim wasn't feelin great and erica & chris were bein...weird.  saw hitch after that which i thought was a good movie.  not as good as i was anticipating but it made me smile.  will smith is a pretty pretty man   got home around 2:30, read my bible and then passed out some time after 3.  i'm surpised i was able to force myself outta bed this morning for sunday school.  glad but surprised.

so the agenda today includes finishing this paper for crit reading & writing... scheduling a time to take that soc. test tomorrow..  and most likely, a nap.  good deal. 

despite the craziness of this week, overall, its been a good one.  yesterday i took that linguistics test and it was a lot easier than i had anticipated so that meant that when i was finished and i had some extra time and i was able to take my time heading to my other class.  i've realized that if i time it just right, i can run into a bunch of people walking across campus.  yesterday i saw bruce, paul, and a couple other people..the other day i saw billy..  and today sarah was in the cbt room when i was taking my sociology test.  fun times.  speaking of that stupid sociology test--i've decided that i'm not a huge fan of computer based tests..  i felt like sucha  weenie in there today cuz its the first time i've had to take one and i didn't have a clue what was going on.  as far as the test itself--not too hard.  got a 41/50.  gonna go back on monday and try to do better tho.

i had a red bull earlier but i'm kinda wishin i would've waited cuz it was my last and it woulda been helpful to have had it just before heading down to jens to watch hailey and michael..  o-well.. maybe i'll walk to dairy mart and get more.  hmm..

for now?  yah. i should do sumthin productive.  that pesky motivation thing keeps getting in the way.  hmf.

why is it that i always have crap to say on here when i'm too busy to actually sit down and go on about whatever?  and then when i have a spare minute, i've got nothing..

last nite wasn't so great but the cool thing was, instead of callin someone and complaining or even venting on here, i sat down and just talked to God about it all.  it was good.  hung out with erica & jim for a bit after gilmore girls... then came home and tried to work on a paper.  it didn't last too long.

this morning i got up at 7:30 to wait on some guy who came out to look at our ceilings...or thats what i thought he was comin for anyways.  went up in our attic.  not a good idea.  we've had nuthin but issues with our roof--it leaks even tho within the past year or two we had it "repared" and then several months later, a whole new roof done..and so now they're tryin to say our ceilings are messed up because there isn't enuf insulation in the attic.. now thats interesting--when he opened the lil door that goes up into the attic, insulation came flowin out (we don't use our attic at all).  but o yes.  we need more!    psh--i think they need to go back thru training cuz the brown stains on the ceiling in my bedroom and in the hallway are not from a lack of insulation in the attic.  dude.  my ceiling is seriously falling in!  i honestly won't be that surprised if i wake up in the middle of some nite, covered in it.  my ceiling, that is.

anyways.  so dude left sayin he'd call the mother to fill her in.  hes a nice guy.  but rilly. 

then i went to work.  got about 850 words down on that paper in between all that, takin Sherlock to the vet (poor poop--hes got a nasty ear infection ), and babysitting the kiddies.  hailey and michael are good kids..most of the time.  i spent about 3 1/2 hours with 'em today and i must admit that i was ready to go when jen got home.  not that they were rilly bad or anything...more of an issue on my part, i think--not enuf sleep, too much on my mind, etc.  jen was a bit late getting home.  she walked in the door a lil after 5 and my class starts at 5:10 so i was just thankful that i'd been on top of things & brought my crap with me.  flew to school.  surprised i didn't have a run in with the fuzz..but thankful i didn't.  walked into class about 7 minutes late and then trudged thru 3 papers, making comments, suggestions, etc. for the workshop. 

overall, today was pretty good.  now, if i can just get thru my linguistics exam tomorrow and get to the computer lab to take my sociology exam friday, i'll be good to go. 

then it will be the weekend 

hm.  guess i had more to say than i anticipated.

ya know... the concept of having a favorite day--whether it be a day of the week, a holiday, or whatever--seems kinda pointless.  i think that if i made a point to think of "today" as being my favorite day, life would be much better.  i don't believe that a day will ever go by where at least one blessing, straight from the Father, cannot be found...was that worded correctly?  theres a lot goin thru my mind right now so i may not make sense..

today has been good and i hope to see it continue that way.

i woke up around 9 and was out at the cafe by about 9:50.  nothing too eventful out there which is usually a good thing.  there were 2 guys in there for most of my shift.  they made the time pass quickly cuz we talked and joked about different things but i was glad to leave when i did because they sort of made me a bit uncomfortable... asked me all these random questions..they didn't rilly bother me until the "do u have a bf" came up.. have to admit, that i kinda liked the one guy but hes not a Christian and rilly...i want to be concentrating on God right now more than anything else.

when i got home, i left sabby (my car ) in the driveway, walked up to subway, got a 6" veggie on wheat (the greatest "fast food" ever), and chilled there reading some crap for school.  good times?

i have class at 5..then off to bible study at amandas.  i mondays.

but as for now?  procrastination.  i could be studying for one of the 2 exams i have this week... or working on the paper thats due on wednesday...but no.  just sitting here.  yah.

blah.  i just played this game a few months ago..

tomorrow is sunday and i'm gonna do my best to drag myself outta bed, tissues in tow if necesary, and go to church. bein at church always helps me put my issues into perspective.

God is cool. 

i did finish my paper.  just printed it out a bit ago...

it was pretty rough getting up this morning tho after only 4 hours of sleep.  i downed some red bull and had one of those energy bars and i'm still feelin good so as long as this lasts another 5 hours until my classes are over, i'll be ok.

this is random but i rilly do like my sociology class.  yah--it starts at 7.45 am..but dr stevens makes it, at the very least, amusing. 

thats all. 

i'm off to do some reading (well..maybe not reading per se, but at least some quick scanning)
