  • has anyone ever noticed that ancient mythology (greek, roman, etc.) is pretty much the same as the bible practically word for word?  well, not literally word for word but a lot of the "stories" are very similar.

  • I think similaries in religions go back to man's religious instincts.  We were created to search for God and He had "set eternity in our hearts."  Here is a website dealing with the mulitple "saviors" in mythology.  I'm not sure about the realiabilty of the site, I just happened to come across it.  I like the end.  http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/156

  • hey you:)
Thanks for you input on my digital camera debate...I think I'm leaning towards yes. I went to Best Buy tonight and saw one I really liked. It was really small which I like and it had a lot of memory and stuff like that. Hope you're doing well...I've missed you!! Hope to see ya soon!

  • hey kristie.ee............ hanging out at the library in flagstaff. pretty freakin cool here. going to the grand canyon on wednesday. for 8 days. very remote, no showers! long hike! 2 shirts! stink! spent a couple of days putting up barbed wire fences in walnut canyon to keep cattle out. going back to that project tomorrow and tuesday..  don't have to wake up until 9:30 or so tomorrow! probably up before 8 anyway! but the park is feeding us! cool! really cool any time people give me food. because i don't have enough cash to buy anything very good (ie things other than rice and beans)! rain gear cut into the funds significantly. boo

i like swedish people. and everybody else, but the swedes seem particularly nice.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.    w00t! you go girl!

hahaha. i'm bored. most people are on project, so there aren't very many people around to keep me entertained at the apartment. so i type (about almost anything) at the library until my fingers bleed.

    hooray!

and to make this tie in to your post (sort of): hooray for mythology!
