KRISTEAAAAAAA remember when we tried to get you to change your name to kristea so we could name a tea company after you? i've returned from the grand canyon. i smelled pretty bad when i got back. 8 days with no showers and the same t shirt and jeans the entire time. when i took a shower after getting home i was standing in a pool of murky brown water (the drain is clogged!).... woke up the next morning with still filthy hair. washed it twice in the sink.. the water was still turning brown from it. amazing, really. but it's great to be (semi)clean again. .. i'm going to bryce canyon for 3 weeks on tuesday, which i've heard is spectacular! heard that it is even more beautiful than the grand canyon!.. but the view from the toilet cant possibly compare. our toilet at the grand canyon was right by the edge of a wall and overlooked the Red Wall. i've never used a toilet with such a scenic view. it was quite incredible. i got a decent sunburn today.went to a big peace bike ride/walk, poetry reading, community food eating session. tonight i'm going to the lowell observatory with a girl i met at food not bombs today. that should be sweet. i hope it's free though. because i'm Really freakin poor! i got the autobiography of malcolm x from the Hive bookshelf today. the hive is an old church turned youth/community center. it's where fnb and all the cool stuff in flagstaff goes on. i'm  glad to have a book to read. dang. i'm so freakin sunburned. it stings (just a little). think it's the worst of the year. crap. my mom said that the party wasn't a huge money maker, but you did a really nice job with it. apologies for not having enough rich friends and relatives!

think that's it. more in a couple days, or when i get out of the canyon in a few weeks. hope school and life in general is rocking your face offf and junk.
