• almost lost it

  kat is home from arizona for a week   

  
  

  last nite the two of us & erica went to Ni's Dynasty Super Buffet.  for some reason i was all up for trying new things which made for a v. interesting evening. 

  
  

  sushi (mostly really great), duck (not my thing), squid (looked like an onion ring but def. did not taste like one), a few unidentified things and mussel.

  
  

  the mussel did not go down well.

  
  

  

  
  

  i had a few serious gag reflexes and by the time i was actually able to swallow it, i had tears all down my face.

  
  

   

  
  

  i brought home the shell as a souvenir tho because, let me tell you--unless by cicumstances beyond my control, i will never put one of those things in my mouth again.
